Los Encantos is a small community of four private villas located in the Mata Grande area of Ambergris Caye, centrally located from town and Secret Beach.

Villas Caribe Palms is an authentic Belizean beach house. Our villa is the largest of the four Los Encantos homes, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The villa sleeps 8-10 adults and has 4 full baths. The fourth bedroom and bath is optional as it has a separate entrance perfect for parents, in-laws, a young family or nanny traveling with you to Ambergris Caye.

We’ve ensured the comforts of home with WiFi, Smart TV with Cable, Refrigerator & Freezer, Coffee Maker, Dishwasher, Stove, Microwave and more. Each bedroom along with the Great Room has their own air conditioners. Plus our wonderful Belizean caretaker, Harly, and housekeeper, Nevia, will take care of your requests and help you feel right at home.

Los Encantos has a private pier exclusively for our residents and guests. You can toss out your line and fish right off the pier or simply sit down and relax to enjoy the ocean breezes in the private palapa lounge chairs.

Just off the Los Encantos beach is the beautiful barrier reef. (Belize is home to the world second largest barrier reef.) Here you can discover beautiful reef fish (Angelfish, Butterfly Fish, Parrotfish, Starfish, Damsels, Snapper, Grouper, Stingrays, Conch, and the occasional sea turtle, spiny lobsters and eels)

Fishing in Belize is some of the best in the world. If you want to spend a ½ day of full day reef fishing, you’ll find grouper, snapper, barracuda, Spanish maceral, tarpon and bonefish, there’s nothing like it! If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, you can go on the other side of the reef for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and maybe even a shark! Many of the island restaurants will cook your catch so be sure to ask our recommended fishing guide Clinton to prepare your catch for dinner!

You can explore Ambergris Caye and get around on the island by taxi, water taxi, or golf cart. Our villa is 4.5 miles from San Pedro Town (that’s the town on Ambergris Caye) here you’ll find great shopping, local artists, local rum, chocolate, wood carvings, hot sauce, coffee, as well as souvenirs for the trip home.
